I have used the universal black refill kit for about six years and have always had great print quality on my Canon printer. I don't really know how much money I have saved but I would guess around a 90% savings over buying cartridges. Now that I have a color printer, fax, scanner etc I wouldn't even think about buying any where else. I will buy an extra set of cartridges just in case one goes bad but I will always use the refill kits.
